Terms of use

campusmomentum.com is run by Campus Momentum (Campus Momentum Missions), 172 Udo Umana Road, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria (“we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

How we handle personal data is explained separately in our Privacy notice.

You may browse, share and link to the site freely. Please do not:

• submit applications, enquiries or gifts in someone else’s name, or with false details;
• try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site, its admin area or its data;
• collect other people’s details from the site, or send spam through its forms;
• use the site for anything unlawful.

We may block access or remove submissions that break these rules.

• Sending an application does not guarantee a place. Every applicant goes through selection, which includes a conversation with the team and a reference from a pastor or fellowship leader.
• If you are accepted, your participation is governed by the volunteer agreement, code of conduct and pre-trip briefing we give you then. Those documents take priority over this page.
• You are responsible for your travel documents, such as an international passport and yellow fever card for international trips, for disclosing health conditions that affect your safety on the field, and for any costs agreed in your payment plan.
• Volunteers under 18 need written consent from a parent or guardian.
• Dates, destinations and activities may change for safety, security or partner reasons. We tell accepted volunteers as early as we can.

• Gifts are voluntary donations to the mission work of Campus Momentum. You receive no goods or services in return.
• When you choose what your gift is for, we use it for that purpose. If that need is already fully met, or a trip cannot go ahead, we apply the gift to the closest similar need in our mission work.
• Online gifts are processed by Paystack, under Paystack’s terms. We never see or store your card details.
• If a gift was made in error, for example a duplicate charge or the wrong amount, tell us within 30 days at hello@campusmomentum.com with the payment reference and we will refund it. Otherwise gifts are not refundable.
• For bank transfers, please send us the receipt so we can confirm your gift and thank you.

The text, photographs, videos, flyers, logos and design of this site belong to Campus Momentum or the people who allowed us to use them.

• You may share our pages, flyers and videos to promote our trips and events, and quote short passages with a link back to the source.
• You may print the guides in Resources for personal, church or fellowship use.
• Please do not use our photographs of people, our logo or our name for other purposes, or commercially, without written permission.

You confirm that what you send through the site is accurate and yours to share. We publish testimonies, quotes or photographs you send only with your permission, and we may edit them for length.

The site links to and uses services run by others, including WhatsApp, YouTube, Google, Paystack and social networks. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.

We work to keep information on the site correct, but trip details, costs and event times can change, and the details we give you directly take priority. The site is provided as it is; we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Akwa Ibom State, although we would always rather resolve it by talking with you first.

We may update these terms and will show the date at the top of the page. Questions go to hello@campusmomentum.com.
