About Campus Momentum
Campus Momentum is the movement that takes students from hearing about missions to standing in an unreached village, and it has done so every December since 2018.
Our story
Campus Momentum began around 2010 among students at the University of Uyo who believed missions should not wait until after graduation. They prayed for the unreached, invited missionaries to campus, and asked what it would take for their generation to go.
That conviction became an intercampus movement. As the first students graduated, they kept going: as professionals, as tentmakers, as people who pay their own way to serve. Campus Momentum became a home for students, graduates and professionals who share one burden, the final global harvest.
In December 2018 the first Beautiful Feet team went to the field. Two years later the trip crossed its first border, into the Republic of Benin. Since then teams have served in Tepa, in the Idabato Ndien Sub-Division of Cameroon, in Ogoja, in Ini LGA with NEMA and Mission Titus, and in the UNHCR refugee settlement at Ukende.
Today the movement runs six ministry arms, a ministry school, a prayer network and a conference every two years, from an office on Udo Umana Road in Uyo. It is still what it was at the start: not another church, but a momentum.

What is Campus Momentum? Hear it in our own words.

Why “Campus”
Campus Momentum is not another church or denominational fellowship. It is what it is: a momentum, helping to catalyse and ignite an unstoppable missions movement in our day.
We focus on the campus because that is where the next generation of doctors, teachers, engineers and leaders is formed. A student who meets the unreached at twenty carries that burden into every profession, every church and every city they go to. Mobilise a campus and you mobilise a generation.

FAQ
And other questions we hear.
No. Campus Momentum is not another church or denominational fellowship. It is a momentum: a missions movement that works with churches and campus fellowships to mobilise people for world missions.
Volunteers and partners come from many churches. What unites us is the gospel and the call to reach the unreached, not a denomination.

Missions is the work of taking the gospel of Jesus Christ across cultural, language and geographical barriers to people who have not heard it. Read our primer "What is missions?" in Stories.
It began around 2010 among students at the University of Uyo who wanted missions to be part of campus life, and grew into an intercampus movement of students, graduates and professionals.
