How do I pray for missions and missionaries on the field? This is a simple question with very simple responses that we may take for granted. While some persons only pray for missionaries occasionally, others pray only when in congregations. For some, it’s an annual or monthly event. What if the water supply in your home was a monthly or one-time event? We complain in certain environments when the power supply is erratic, but the powerhouse that brings and sustains the harvest is left unattended to. How do we pray consistently and strategically for missions?

1. Form a biblical basis for praying for missions.
2. Pick a specific missionary for your prayers.
3. Pray for specific mission fields.
4. Pray with the map.
5. Pray for specific people groups.
6. Pray via the news. Instant happenings across the globe.

Methods:
1. Prayer walk.
2. Set your timer.
3. Get a group of committed people.
4. Plan your prayers to fit your schedule.
